Rescue Rick the Grass Cut Man features a "Product of the Moment."  Mother's Day appreciation and remembrance is the air.  Also, Mothers-To-Be are preparing to become mothers.  Children are involved in about 25% of all yard accidents.  Rescue Rick the Grass Cut Man offers some advice to mothers with regards to children and yard safety awareness:

• Children should not operate a lawnmower until they are 16 years old. Also, children should demonstrate a maturity-level consistent with operating the equipment in a responsible manner. 
• Even if you believe your child is old enough to mow, spend time showing him or her how the mower works and watch to be sure that he or she can do the job safely.
• Children should not ride as a passenger on ride-on mowers. Children on riding mowers have the potential to fall and be run over by the mower, resulting in serious injury and/or amputation of the extremities.  Riding mowers are one-person machines; never tow children in carts or trailers while mowing. 
• Children and pets should not be in the yard while the lawn is being mowed.

Rescue Rick the Grass Cut Man™ is collaborating with various organizations to distribute the "Kids & Strangers" family child safety DVD to educate and protect children and families from abduction and molestation.  Over 700,000 times a year, a juvenile is abducted in America (2,000 child abductions in America every day).  In 80% of abductions by strangers, the first contact occurs within a quarter of a mile from the child’s home.  In many cases, the abduction does too. Every family in America has a 1 in 3 risk of suffering a kidnapping while their children are growing up.  Therefore, Rescue Rick the Grass Cut Man (tm) wants to rescue kids and families from abduction and molestation.

The entertainment industry Stars have signed onto the “Kids and Strangers” not-for-profit child safety DVD project.  It was announced that Henry Simmons (“SHARK,” “NYPD Blue”), Daryl Sabara (“SPY KIDS” I, II, III) and Cristina Perez (“Judge Cristina”- FOX TV) have joined the cast of “Kids & Strangers” a community/child safety DVD.

This one-hour program was produced in partnership with the National Missing Children’s Locate Center and with assistance from the FBI, Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD), Colorado Bureau of Investigation, Nashville/Metro Police Department “Child Crimes Unit” and many other departments and experts. This project was funded by 25 law enforcement associations and unions including:  National Tactical Officers Association, International Association of Women Police, National Narcotics Officers Alliance Coalition and others.
